This weekend is designed to introduce a daughter, granddaughter or other favorite little girl to Camp Nakanawa and its traditions, so that when she's of camp age, she's ready to go!  It's also a great way to introduce adult friends or relatives to camp.  The weekend is designed with prospective Nakanawa campers and parents in mind, and it's open to any female friends or relatives who are interested in camp.  The focus is on prospective campers ages 5 - 11.

Girls and their moms (or grandmothers, aunts, etc.) spend the weekend living in cabins, eating in the dining hall, waking up to the bell, and enjoying camp activities, such as horseback riding, nature, arts & crafts, climbing wall & zip line.  Girls will learn about the Amazon and Valkyrie teams, camp traditions and songs.  They'll have free time to swim and canoe on the lake, hike, play tennis, enjoy a lakefront cookout, and participate in Evening Entertainment!  Parents will also have opportunities to meet and ask questions of experienced campers and counselors, as well as Camp Directors, Ann and Pepe Perron.

Staff will lead small groups of girls and moms throughout a day of camp activities, answer questions, help in the dining hall, staff  the waterfront, and generally provide a role model of Camp Nakanawa counselors.
